Jeff, It looks like there is a script issue specifically with how you are including the javascript that only affects Firefox. Do you have Firebug, the firefox extension? If so, look at the structure of the page and focus in the head section. You'll see the script call to skinnytip is returning some strange information. I would start there.

Hi, I think this is a great little script. I have used it on the following page: https://fc.gannacademy.org/gannopedia/genremap/rlgenremap.html But for some strange reason, it only works in IE and not in Firefox. I also had to strip out all of the alt and title attributes because it was really distracting to have both the alt tooltip in IE (that doesn't happen in Firefox) and the skinnytip. The standard trick of putting in a title="" doesn't work because this is an image map. Any suggestions, either about being able to suppress the alt tooltip in IE or in getting this to display in Firefox? Jeff

Great stuff... I always have had second thoughts about OverLib because of its size. This is the solution. No bulk, just what you need for a good looking tool tip.
